⏰ 10.15am–1.15pm
Newnham – Grantchester Meadows Circular
Meet at Crofters Coffee Shop at 10.15am for a 10.30am departure. We will be walking into Grantchester Meadows, following the River Cam into Grantchester village. Then looping back through the meadows and returning to Newnham ending at The Red Bull Pub.
Mainly good paths. Can be muddy in winter as sections cross meadow paths near the river. Mostly flat and around 6–7km.
Every walk is different – the route, the people, even the weather – but what stays the same is the welcoming, easygoing environment. Come solo, bring a friend, or even your dog!
However you show up, you’re sure to leave with great conversations and new connections. Over 18? You’re in!

Check the weather before heading out! If it’s rained, err on the side of caution and wear appropriate footwear and bring a waterproof.
We carry a small first aid kit, so if your boots are new, do bring some plasters. You’ll thank us later!
-
Our walks are for over-18s only to keep a steady pace and give women space to switch off and connect, though babes in arms (carriers or slings) are welcome.
-
Friendly, well-socialised dogs are welcome! Just bring a lead as some routes pass livestock. Be mindful that not everyone loves dogs – check in before letting yours say hello!
