Join us at The Harpenden Arms for a relaxed and creative embroidery workshop over a drink or two.

A short walk from Harpenden train station. Nearby car parks Amenbury Lane Car Park (in front of the leisure centre) and Harpenden Station West Side Car Park.

You'll be provided with all the materials and tuition to create a beautiful Zodiac embroidery. Pick your own star sign image or just choose any pattern that grabs your eye.

Workshop includes:

• 2 hours of relaxed embroidery tuition including getting set up, different stitches and embellishment techniques.

• All materials are provided: including embroidery hoop and cotton, zodiac design, a choice of threads, beads and sequins.

• ‘How To’ stitch guide and your own design to take home.

• A free glass of fizz or soft drink.

Don’t worry if you have never been on a walk before, lots of women come solo and you will be very welcome.

  Check the weather before heading out! If it’s rained, err on the side of caution and wear appropriate footwear and bring a waterproof. 

  We carry a small first aid kit, so if your boots are new, do bring some plasters. You’ll thank us later!

  Absolutely! Most women attend solo and we always have friendly faces to greet you and help you feel welcome.
