St Albans • Women Who Walk on Water
Sun 10th Aug 2025
Stanborough Park
Stanborough Road
Welwyn Garden City
Hertfordshire AL8 6DF
13.30pm - 15.30pm
We’re back at Stanborough Lakes again for another Women Who Walk on Water social! Try your hand at Paddle Boarding, Kayaking, Canoeing whilst socializing with other Women Who Walk. Don’t worry if you have never been before, there are plenty of instructors to help out.
Bring a pair of trainers you don’t mind getting wet, SPF (always!), a hat if it’s sunny and light layers to take off/add on when needed. There are changing facilities there and also a cafe for a coffee or ice cream afterwards. Buoyancy aids will be given out but it is a requirement that you can swim and you will be asked to confirm this with the team at Stanborough.
Parking can be very tricky as the park gets super busy, please allow plenty of time and car share where possible.
